Critiques
Like Kinja said, you should really space them out. Look at a picture of the sky and take that for reference. You know what they say: Nature really is the best teacher.
Now, moving on to technique. The lineart in itself isn't that good. It seems that you don't bother to erase the mistakes when you draw something. For instance, this is really visible in the wing. When you drew the shoulder and then the wing, you left a small overlapping line of the wing inside the shoujlder. Please, don't do that. Erase them. It's not appealing at all to look at lines all over the place.
Now, this is a suggestion. You know how pixels are all blocky and 'eww' when drawing something big? Plenty of artists sharpen the end of the line by erasing it. This both simulates pen pressure and makes the line look nice, clean, and crisp. An example of what I'm talking about could be seen here: [link] Instead of using pen pressure (it's really hard to do with pixels), she just erases the ends.
I like the coloring pattern, it's original. I'm not going to go in depth with this. When coloring, try to make it all nice and straight. You could do this by using several tools (Pen tool, any selecting tool, Beizer/curve tool, or simply erasing the edge until it looks all nice and straight.). A clear example of this could be any of *KayFedewa's work.
As for shading, just remember that shading makes the character look 3D. When shading, you must always keep in mind all the places where the light hits.
And... that's it! If you ever feel stuck on anything, feel free to look at pictures for reference. It works best.
This was very pretty to look at ^^ I love the use of the starry effect, makes a nice mood for the picture. I would try spacing the shading of the spray in the background out a little more.
Originality:
I love how imaginative this piece is ^^ very original, I think you should do more pictures like this one, they're alot more pleasing to look at than the same old pose over and over again! Great job!
Technique:
The technique is very unique and distinctive, but the anatomy on the feet could use a little bit of work, try looking at birds claws for referances, the torso looks very big to me, try smoothing it down a bit.
Impact:
WOW! This picture really hit me when it came into my sight, the contrast between the black sky and the white stars really catches attention! Try making your pictures more like this one impact wise ^^
