A: You were listed on birthdays and/or your old account was listed.

Q: Why did you wish me an early birthday?
A: I tried wishing birthdays after midnight, but not many time zones were like mind and I got quite a few "thanks but my birthday is tomorrow" messages so I added in the 'early' part. Wishing birthdays pass midnight soon stopped working out so now I am stuck in the habit of giving a day early birthday each morning.
